The ceremony was hosted by Rufus Hound and accompanied with festival themed street food, cocktails and performances from New York Brass Band.
Latitude took the top prize winning Best Major Festival, with TNSMT Festival (Glasgow Green) taking the crown of Best New Festival.
Liverpool, Leeds and Nottingham were all well represented with Slam Dunk, Dot to Dot and Liverpool Music week all picking up prizes for their inner-city festivals.
To round off the evening, the Festival Awards team gave Freddie Fellowes, The Outstanding Contribution to Festivals Award and SJM scooped the accolade of promoter of the year.
We should also give a bit of a shout out to the other people at our dinner table that evening – we were in great company with John and Johnny from Festival Republic, Charlotte from MAMA, Lee from LeeFest, Rob from Standon Calling and Dan from Camden Rocks.
